I just took a 2 and a half hour nap.

School's started up again, and so has my schedule of having at least 4 headaches in any given week. It's awful.

So if a person who commits "cons" are called "Conners", are people who get conned called "Connies"?

Here's the board. It's resting on a water heater or something. I really like it. I'm a little pissed right now, because I made a whole video of my skating, but it's too big to put on youtube and I can't edit it in any way. Shit.

Music is good.

I've been listening to some good music the past while. I've rediscovered the Smiths. I never really got out of them, but I listened to "Strangeways, Here We Come" and am currently listening to "Meat is Murder." I also set up my new Toy Machine deck. I was going to wait until I broke the one my sister gave me, but I do want to save that one, it was very sweet. She knows me very well. I'll start putting up some pictures on this once I get a camera, which I might get for my birthday.

I've been looking through the Tempster's [Ed Templeton] art, and he really is talented. I'm dying to see some of the pictures from "Teenage Smokers," but tough luck. He is the son and the heir of a talent that is criminally vulgar. He goes about things the right way. He is human and he wants to belong, just like everybody else does.

Don't you love it when you lose function of your brain, and just start putting different words into lyrics from "How Soon is Now?"

New deck!

I got a new deck. I also got new shoes. I'm not as rich as I might sound this far into the blog, I can explain this:

It was Christmas on December 25th, right? I got at least 350 dollars from relatives, because they don't know what to give me. That's how I purchased a lot of the past stuff. My birthday is on January 16th, so today my grandparents were throwing money at my mom to buy me stuff.

I got my first Toy Machine deck today, a company that I've been eager to try. I really like the shape of it, it's a Diego Bucchieri 7.75. It's got a bunch of colors, and the Toy Machine devil is pretty much going, "Omfg" on it. The shoes I got are a collaboration of Fourstar and Lakai. Rick Howard model or something, I don't care. I wear a 10.5. I mostly only got the shoe in lieu of all of the others because it has a purple sole.

Yeah, I'm going to go watch Lakai's "Fully Flared" again as a tribute to the shoe. That DVD is WAY too good for its own good.

First post, ring-a-ding blogging lifestyle to come

Yeah, just decided to start a blog I guess. I've had a few unsuccessful ones in the past, as this one is sure to be, but I'm gonna try to update it as frequently as possible. Probably once every other day for 2 weeks, then I'll end up forgetting the password. Anyhow...

Just got back inside from skateboarding. Why the hell is it 50 degrees in Orlando, Florida? Didn't land anything...nothing cool, at least. I did pull a cool random thing, jumped over a flower pot onto a wall holding the board, pop back off the wall and do a caveman. Ate shit twice due to my driveway being rough and made of brick. Landed face first once.

I also wrecked my shoe. My toe is almost fully sticking out. Kind of depressing that I've attempted enough kickflips to wreck the side of my shoe, but still can't land them. Getting closer though, so I'm optimistic. I'm going to stop talking about skateboarding to the less skateboarding(ly) inclined of my potential frequenters.

Got a few new CDs yesterday at the local shoppe. We don't even have a CD shop any long at home, so while I'm up in the states, it's good to stock up. Got a Yo La Tengo, the only Smiths I was missing (Strangeways, Here we Come), a Sonic Youth and the Arcade Fire EP. I forgot the names of the Sonic Youth and Yo La Tengo CDs, and it is too cold to go upstairs. I have moved my computer downstairs for the sake of warmth.

I'm gonna go possibly see some concerts with my sister and her awesome friend tonight, so I need to finish this up. Goodbye!
